Action Planning Meetings
A series of one-day regional meetings are being organised to
bring together key decision-makers and influencers to:
- Find out what is already being done to support local SMEs affected
by public sector e-procurement
- Identify gaps and opportunities for collaboration to ensure
that local SMEs in the region are able to respond successfully
- Agree an action plan for proactive collaboration the next 12
months.
Two meetings have been held to date:
South West Region
East of England Region
Participants included:
- Local Authority Finance, Procurement and e-Procurement Managers
- Local Authority Economic Development Managers
- Finance, Procurement and e-Procurement Managers from other locally
based public sector organisations
- UK online for business advisers
- Regional Development Agency representatives
- Business Links and other local Business Support Agencies, Social
Enterprises and other service or training providers who work with
SMEs
