Selling to the Public Sector

The public sector is the biggest market for goods and services in the UK.

However it is also probably the most difficult to break into.

Why?

Because it does not operate as one market. For example, there are 388 local councils (ignoring the Parish Councils) all of whom have their own way of working. They have different structures and cultures, apply their own pre-qualification rules, have different spending authority levels etc etc.

This sector is undergoing massive change and you need to understand what is happening on that front if you wish to be able to sell to them.

Imaginist is leading work for ODPM and Local Authorities on e-procurement supplier adoption and economic development, so we understand how to work with and sell to public sector organisations. We also understand how their buying behaviour is changing.

Corporate clients are using our knowledge and experience to gain insight into this important but difficult market. Why aren’t you?
