Over the past 2-3 years,
the London Borough of Newham has been helping local companies who
want to adopt e-trading. The scheme, managed by Imaginist, with
the e-commerce technology provided by @UK PLC, has been picked up
by over 150 companies, many of which have changed the way they do
business and are now trading electronically. Others are using their
interactive websites to attract enquiries and respond to requests
for quotations.
Now this scheme has been
incorporated into a new Newham Business Legacy Initiative, pulling
together business advice from the East London Small Business
Centre, supply chain advice and training from SupplyNewham
and e-commerce from us: Business Online.

small or medium sized company, you can obtain a domain name and

for a year.
This includes an initial
diagnostic meeting, training and support to understand the role
of e-commerce in your business, your own domain name and website,
with professional web designers online and at the end of a telephone
to work with you to build your own trading site.
