Colin Bainbridge, Knowledge Management Consultant

Colin is an experienced management consultant with a track record of over 16 years gained in big 5 and niche consulting organisations. Colin specialises in Knowledge Management and change management projects, working at strategic and operational level helping public sector departments and related organisations plan for and implement change. He has experience of designing and implementing web 2.0 technologies (communities of practice and web forums) to support enterprise wide knowledge sharing and online collaboration. Colin is the author of a book on the management and implementation of change: “Designing for Change: A Practical Guide to Business Transformation”.

 

Iain Begg, Director, IMB Consulting and Director, Endstate, Project and Programme Manager

Iain is a Project and Programme Management professional with over 20 years practical experience working for Investment Banks, Retail Banks and Software Houses in a variety of senior level roles, dealing with high volume global transaction processing systems. He now runs his own Consultancy company, specialising in project turnaround and training, and is a director of a recruitment company focused on the finance and IT sectors. Iain has built his success on a people-centric and soft-skills approach and has constructed a suite of expert-level training courses on the people aspects of projects, programmes, portfolios and project sponsorship. With a technology background and practical project delivery experience, he has also developed a unique Project/Programme HealthCheck methodology to uncover and deal with the underlying root causes that lead to project failure. He has a proven ability to deliver excellent results and has a reputation for building stable, reliable solutions.

  Nikki Cole, Director, BlueSky Cat, Organisational Change Expert and Programme Manager

Nikki set up BlueSky Cat to provide impartial, confidential and non-judgemental services to Executive Management teams to facilitate Organization Change. A Chartered Engineer by training, Nikki has developed a balanced view of organization dynamics through positive experiences in Sales, Marketing, Support, Quality, Design, Development and Executive Management positions. She brings the theory of Organization Change to bear in a practical and proven way to help CEOs and their management teams implement change programmes that will create a positive experience for the company and their employees. Nikki is a Council member at Brunel University.

 

Mark Connell, Business Transformation Leader and Director

Mark Connell is a Business Transformation Leader and Programme Manager with over 20 years experience managing and delivering business transformation and change programmes on behalf of directors, VP's and other senior executives. As a qualified accountant who has previously held senior line management positions in Finance, HR and Programme Management, he fully understands how to successfully deliver change management initiatives in complex organisations and turn business strategies into operational reality. He delivers results through combining his Financial, Commercial, HR and Project Management acumen, to create strong cross functional communication, understanding, engagement and focus. This enables change initiatives to be delivered, employees and organisations to develop, performance improvement to be achieved, businesses benefits to be realised, strategic goals to be met and stakeholders to achieve their goals.

Amit is an accomplished senior IT & business executive with over 30 years of experience in a wide range of senior executive roles in information technology and business, working for, and with, a series of blue-chip international corporations, holding VP level positions with Fortune 500 companies. Amit's core skills and experience include the building, transformation and leadership of international IT and professional services (IT & Software) organisations, IT strategy development and implementation, technology-led business transformation, and complex, international program/project/business change management.

Rob Fear, Marketing and Sales Training Consultant

Rob Fear is an experienced marketing and sales consultant, specialising in consultancy and training in the field of Business Leadership and Key Account Management strategy and implementation in the business to business arena, in the UK, mainland Europe and further afield. He designs and facilitates skills development training for teams and individuals, in presenting, selling and negotiating, marketing, key account management, finance, leadership & management, training and coaching. He has lectured in Consultancy Skills on the International MBA Programme at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge .

Structured on a modular basis, clients only select the solutions they require, tailored to their needs, either on a regular or ad hoc basis. We are focused, forward thinking and creative, working with our clients to make a difference. We are in our 6th year of trading and currently employee 14 permanent members of staff.

Stephen Gaubert, IT and Cost Management Consultant

Stephen is an IT and cost management professional with 40 years experience in all aspects of IT, budget and cost management, project and programme management and business continuity planning. He has over 20 years experience working in the Investment Banking and Consumer Banking sectors. His key skills relate to the programme management of major projects, acting as Project Director, involvement in planning, resourcing, budgeting, risk planning and reporting across multiple teams, and strong stakeholder management skills at a senior level. He is currently providing Cost Management and Procurement advice to businesses, benchmarking costs, service requirements and service levels, tendering the market and carrying out on-going reviews and implementing cost reduction projects.

Jeff Hurst, Director of Alternative Minds, Business Transformation expert
Jeff is an experienced consultant with over 20 years Research and Development, Business Process Management and Project & Product Management experience in global organisations, typically in hi-tech sectors. He has an excellent track record of delivering the desired results in projects and programmes of all sizes and across many sectors. Originally from a hi-tech IT / Telecoms background, Jeff rose to become the Strategic Manager for design process improvements for Ericsson. After successfully completing an MBA, Jeff co-founded the Alternative Minds consultancy, where he has been able to apply his broad business knowledge and the insights gained from academia to a diverse portfolio of projects. Jeff is a member of the Chartered Management Institute and a lifetime Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce.

Andy McIntyre, Consultant and Trainer

Andy is an experienced and successful consultant and trainer. He has been in the IT industry for over 30 years, working with IT solutions vendors and consultancy services providers. He has delivered management consultancy projects for organisations undergoing challenging business performance improvement programs. His wide-ranging experience covers Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Customer Service Management, Product and Services Marketing, Organisation Development, Information Systems Consultancy, Technology Implementation and Education and Training. He played a major role in Sales Training at Unisys for the last 5 years and has developed and delivered training workshops all around the world.

Roger Martin, Business Psychologist and Change Management Consultant

A trained psychologist with a career in IT systems and consultancy, Roger's hybrid people and systems skills enable him to help business leaders change their organisations from within. Following a career with BT, applying work psychology to the development of innovative commercial computer systems and processes, Roger set up as an independent change management consultant, drawing on his skills and experience in the components of organisational resilience, including participative systems design, prototyping, job design, knowledge management, organisational learning, scenario planning, and flexible working. He is a member of the Association of Business Psychologists and is a Chartered IT Professional in the British Computer Society.

Valerie Merrill, Director, Merrill Consultants, Trainer

Valerie has been involved in training for over twenty years. After becoming a corporate refugee in the early 1990’s she became self employed as a Microsoft trainer and re-skilled with CIPD, IITT and Microsoft. In 2001 Merrill Consultants Ltd was set up as a limited company and Stuart Merrill became part of the business (another corporate refugee, this time from Hertz). Together with around fifty associates, they develop, deliver and monitor a variety of training. These include product specific applications for Microsoft, Adobe and Sage, as well as full bespoke training roll-outs, including e-learning and coaching. Due to client demand Merrill Consultants also deliver people or soft skills, leadership, conflict management, influencing skills and sales techniques.


  Alan Rae, Director, AI Consultants, Expert in Internet Marketing and Social Media

Dr Alan Rae specialises in creating and delivering training programmes such as 'Punch above your Weight' to help smaller companies improve their internet marketing and business performance. Business Performance Research and training programme development. He ran a flagship Ukonline for Business Centre and has created numerous IT and e-business training programmes for the DTI, Business Link, PCWorld, HP, O2 and Virgin Atlantic. He recently led a research project with Brunel, RHUL and Southampton University Management Schools to study how small businesses use IT, the internet and social media for markeing and collaboration. Alan is a Chartered Fellow of the CIM and an associate of the Market Research Society.

                    Stuart Sinclair, Director, TalkFreely, Innovation Software Provider

Stuart is a Director at TalkFreely, an on-demand service that helps organisations engage employees and customers in the process of innovation and improvement. Founded in 2004, this 3rd party hosted software delivers the means to drive and sustain feedback, improvement and innovation and is therefore a key component in helping an organisation to shift to a more sharing, sustainable culture. Through the provision of social networking tools and techniques, it ensures that organisations are able to build ongoing engagement with both employees and customers, benefiting from, the collective experience and knowledge of all these stakeholders.

 

Debby Swallow, Cross-cultural Communication Expert

Dr Deborah Swallow, Managing Director of 4C International is an expert in cross-cultural communication, thus extending the INPACT team's ability to assess organisational culture across national boundaries. She is recognised as one of the finest trainers in Britain, having won the 1999 National Training Award. She brings to an organisation her skills and experience in cross-cultural business practices, academic learning, and the practicalities of hands-on business operations. Deborah is a professional speaker, a Fellow and former Director of The Professional Speakers Association. She is the author of Culture Shock! Finland; Thriving and Survivng as an International Manager and co-author of Communicating Across Cultures; Communicating in English? Do It Better and Make More Sales! Her Masters degree was in Management and Business Development with a Doctorate on Managing Knowledge Across Cultures.

 

Dick Willis, Project Manager and Training Consultant

Dick Willis is an experienced project manager and training consultant. After a career in education and education management and a spell as Director of the Avon Training Agency, he set up as a self-employed management and training consultant, working with a range of public, private and not-for-profit organisations and then spent 2 years as a Head of Faculty at the City of Bristol College, responsible for online learning. More recently he has been a project manager with CNR, working with the Business Support sector, mostly related to the development of e-commerce and e-government and for the capture and management of good practice using online technologies. He is a Cognitive Edge accredited practitioner, a PRINCE2 registered practitioner, a Member of the Institute of Knowledge Transfer, a Member of the UK Evaluation Society and a Fellow of the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce.
